Valecha Engineering net profit rises 1616.19% in the March 2008 quarter

Sales rise 141.13% to Rs 195.10 crore

Net profit of Valecha Engineering rose 1616.19% to Rs 18.02 crore in the
quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 1.05 crore during the previous
quarter ended March 2007. Sales rose 141.13% to Rs 195.10 crore in the
quarter ended March 2008 as against Rs 80.91 crore during the previous
quarter ended March 2007.

For the full year, net profit rose 18.74% to Rs 32.95 crore in the year
ended March 2008 as against Rs 27.75 crore during the previous year ended
March 2007. Sales rose 100.76% to Rs 497.51 crore in the year ended March
2008 as against Rs 247.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2007
