Left withdraws support to UPA

Left sources say that the Left has taken a decision to withdraw its support to the UPA. It will issue a formal statement on withdrawal of support shortly. The Left will approach the President tomorrow. The market has held at 3900 levls on the news.

Prakash Karat said that further meetings(UPA-Left nuclear panel meet) scheduled on July 10 have been rendered meaningless due to the Prime Minister's statement. He added that the Left has asked for a meeting tomorrow morning with the President

Chandan Mitra said that the government will manage to swim through. He is sure that the Congress has a game plan.
