Prithvi Information Solutions has informed that "the adjourned meeting of the board was held on 9th July and the board considered the annual audited financial results for the year ended 31st March, 2008. As per the results, the net income from sales/services has risen to Rs 1,11,279 lakhs from Rs 76,910 lakhs for the previous year posting an increase of 44.69%. The operating profit before interest and depreciation stood at Rs.9,413 lakhs (previous year corresponding quarter Rs.10,033 lakhs) The operating profit after depreciation for the year is Rs 7,021 lakhs (previous year Rs.9120 lakhs). The earning per share (basic) is Rs 35.25 (Rs.50.14 for the previous year). There was a mark to market losses of Rs 3,095 lakhs, provisioned this year. The board recommended dividend of 30% for the year 2007-08 making a final dividend of 30% for the year".
