GTL Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 25.16 crore on standalone basis for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 against Rs 26.95 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2008.
Net sales for the June quarter stood at Rs 318.75 crore against Rs 372.20 crore in the immediate preceding quarter. On consolidated basis, GTL reported net profit of Rs 32.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30 against Rs 48.91 crore in the March quarter.
Net sales stood at Rs 418.92 crore for the April-June period against Rs 474.53 crore in the Jan-Mar period. Shares of GTL were 2.34 per cent at Rs 223.60 on NSE.
