What is the status of Ennore Coke Ltd's 1.3 LTPA met coke and 12MW
power plant at Haldia and when is it getting commissioned?

The met coke plant is almost 95 per cent complete and will get
commissioned shortly. The power plant is 80 per cent complete and will
be commissioned by the last week of July.

Is Ennore Coke's 12 MW plant planning to sell power?

Ennore coke has already signed a power purchase agreement to sell
power to West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited.

Is there any plan to expand Ennore Coke Limited's production capacity
to meet the market demand?

Ennore Coke Limited has already entered into a conversion agreement
with Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL) for 200,000MT of coke per annum.
First batch of coke production has already been completed and sold in
the market. Apart from this Ennore Coke Limited has augmented its
existing capacity by 85,000MT at Wellman Coke India Limited, Nergundi,
and Orissa. With this, the company aims to reach 0.5 million MT by
September 2008.

What is your opinion about the present market trend of met coke prices
in theinternational market?

Coking coal prices have touched the sky. Oil prices have also reached
historical heights in the past few months and it seems the trend will
continue even in the near future. In this circumstances international
coke prices will be on the upswing and there is a shortage in met coke
supplies.

Supply of coking coal and met coke has drastically come down. As
waiting time at Australian ports is more than a months, there is no
scope for reduction in coking coal and met coke prices in the near
future. We are anticipating met coke prices to be quoted in the range
of USD 750-800 per MT by this August-September.
